Let Carelis help care
for your home.
Every beautiful stay begins behind the scenes — with thoughtful care, clear communication, and a home that’s ready to welcome guests.
Here are a few questions homeowners often ask before partnering with Carelis.
-
Carelis manages the day-to-day details of your short-term rental, so you do not have to handle everything yourself.
That includes guest messages, pricing, calendar updates, cleaning coordination, restocking, maintenance coordination, reviews, guidebook support, and monthly owner updates.
-
Carelis is for homeowners who want their short-term rental to feel well-run, welcoming, and easier to manage.
We work with owners who already have an Airbnb or Vrbo, as well as owners who are preparing to launch a new short-term rental.

Review management
Guest guidebook support
Monthly owner updates
-
Our full-service management fee is 20% of the nightly rate.

-
Yes. Supplies and restocking are covered as part of the management fee.
Repairs, replacements, special purchases, maintenance, platform fees, permits, insurance, taxes, utilities, and other property expenses are handled separately.
-
We prioritize responsible sourcing and minimal waste.
-
No. Carelis does not guarantee income, bookings, nightly rates, reviews, or platform ranking.
What we can do is manage the home thoughtfully, price it carefully, and keep the guest experience strong. Actual performance can still change based on the economy, seasonality, demand, location, property condition, reviews, platform changes, and local rules.
-
Yes. You can block dates for personal use as long as they do not conflict with confirmed guest reservations.
Owner stays should be shared early, and the home needs to be cleaned afterward so it is ready for the next guest.
-
Yes, if your city, county, building, or HOA requires one.
The owner is responsible for confirming that the property can legally operate as a short-term rental and for keeping any required permits or licenses active.
-
Yes. Owners should have insurance that covers short-term rental use and paying guests.
A regular homeowner’s policy may not be enough, so you should confirm coverage with your insurance agent before hosting.
-
Absolutely. If your home is not ready yet, Carelis can help prepare it for guests.
That may include reviewing the property, helping with listing strategy, coordinating photos, setting up house rules, creating a guest guidebook, and recommending small updates that improve the guest experience.
-
Yes, as long as the listing and property are a good fit.
Before taking over, Carelis reviews the listing, upcoming bookings, guest messages, reviews, pricing, cleaning process, and access details so the transition is smooth.
-
Carelis handles guest communication for full-service management.
That includes booking questions, arrival details, check-in help, mid-stay questions, checkout reminders, guest issues, and review requests.
-
Carelis coordinates cleaning and turnovers.
If you already have a cleaner, we can work with them as long as they meet the quality standards and schedule flexibility needed for short-term rental stays.
-
Carelis helps coordinate maintenance and vendors when something needs attention.
Repair and replacement costs are the owner’s responsibility. Before management begins, we agree on approval limits for routine repairs and urgent issues.
-
The best homes for Carelis are clean, comfortable, guest-ready, and legally allowed to operate as short-term rentals.
A good fit also has reliable access, strong Wi-Fi, clear parking or arrival instructions, proper insurance, and an owner who cares about keeping the home in great shape.
-
The first step is a quick property review.
We’ll learn about your home, your goals, your current setup, and timing. If your property is a fit, we’ll send a clear proposal with services, pricing, responsibilities, and next steps.
